God has during the decades and centuries been inspiring his servants to publish the good news of the gospel.
God's Word, the Holy Bible is there for every believer to learn from, to know their sin and misery, to be strengthened in faith and to find the good news of salvation.
In God's Word we can learn the following:
God created a world in which there was perfect peace and harmony. He is the ruler and all mankind must obediently serve Him.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good."
Genesis 1:1,31
Man rebelled against this Creator and broke the peace and harmony between God and himself, his fellow men and the world around him. As a result all mankind fell into sin.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory God"
Romans 3:23
God restored peace and harmony by sending us His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Whoever believes in Him will be saved.
"But as many as receive Him, to them He gave the right
to become children of God, to those who believe in His name."
John 1:12
With thanks to God for giving us His Son we now give our lives completely to Him
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable to God, which is your reasonable serivce."
